INTERNATIONAL WOMEN’S DAY #IWD2020 #EachforEqual March 8, 2020

I couldn’t let this day pass without recognizing the importance of Women in my life.
The most important being my mother of course. She raised eight children each two years apart. She is the strongest person I know. She had depression at times, but she never let it stop her from being the rock my father and we kids relied on.
Our father worked two jobs, about 70 hours a week, to house, clothe, and feed us, so Mom was having to play both mother and father on many levels at home. She gave me an appreciation for strong women who make a difference in this world by simply being who they are.

Centrifugal balance — fauxcroft

 by fauxcroftStandard

The centrifugal core of all of our beings

Revolves like one big vortex continually spinning,

It’s there to keep us even, there to keep us balanced,

So why do we work so hard at knocking ourselves right off our axis,

Why do we open up ourselves to all kind of mental harm

When what we should be doing is embracing love and calm

Stop involving ourselves external and beyond our control

And when we learn to do this we will then grow and then evolve.
